SITE ADA ASSESSMENT

The American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires public accommodations to remove barriers in existing buildings.  This title directs businesses to make "reasonable modifications" to their usual ways of doing things, when serving people with disabilities.  Our trained staff will inspect your ADA paths of travel, from your parking areas, to your leasing offices and public access areas including mailboxes, laundry facilities, fitness rooms, and pools.  We will measure cross and running slope, insuring all areas fall within code.  Handrails, truncated domes, and ramps will also be inspected.  A detailed report will be submitted upon completion to you and your team.  We can coordinate with your chosen contractor to remediate the out of compliance issues.  Upon completion we will reinspect the areas, to make sure they are now in compliance.  Our trained staff then will re-inspect the areas every 6 months, making sure they are in compliance, replacing outdated or damaged signage, broken wheel stops, and painting faded curbs.
